In the Anatomy Of Joy workshop, we explore joy as an emotion and a way of life. We delve into the science behind our physiological sensations and the undeniable benefits that joy has for our wellbeing. During the session, you are encouraged to work with The Joy Journal - a workbook specifically designed to complement this learning journey and equip you with your first draft of your roadmap for cultivating more joy in your life.

Workshop Outline
The Anatomy of Joy workshop consists of 3 parts:
1. The anatomy of joy as an emotion: we learn how joy happens in the mind and body
2. The surprising benefits of joy: we dive into the physiological benefits that experiencing joy has for our health, and explore the positive, scientifically backed-up effects it has on our mentality and way of life
3. The anatomy of joy as a way of life: we discover what's stopping us from experiencing joy, what are proven ways we can add more joy to daily life, and practices that can support our journey to a more joyful life.
Workshop Activities
Depending on the duration and delivery method of the workshop, we work with The Joy Journal in different ways:
1.. During in-person sessions, we work with copies of The Joy Journal. Throughout the session, the participants are encouraged to fill in the exercises and capture their reflections. During online sessions, the participants are encouraged to reflect and capture their thoughts on paper and transfer their notes to The Joy Journal after the workshop.
2. Ice-breaker: the workshop starts with a short activity to allow us to mentally arrive at the workshop and tune into the topic

How much time in advance can I book a workshop?
I recommend at least 2 weeks in advance to align on availability. However, sometimes I have the bandwidth to partner with you on a shorter notice. Therefore, reach out and I will do my best to be there for you and your team!
I am running short on time. Is it possible to not customise the content and have an out-of-the-box experience?
Yes, absolutely. Customizing the content is optional.
